TROY, N.Y.— The hiring of a new City Engineer was announced by Mayor Lou Rosamilia.
Starting on Tuesday, June 10, Andrew Donovan will oversee Troy’s daily civil and structural engineering operations.
“The City of Troy expects that our buildings, infrastructure and residents will be in safe hands with Mr. Donovan as the new City Engineer,” said Mayor Lou Rosamilia.
Donovan will be in charge of both the City of Troy’s Engineering and Code Enforcement bureaus.
As a lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Donovan most recently served as the President of his own engineering practice and as a full-time instructor in the Civil, Construction, Industrial and Mechanical Technologies department at Hudson Valley Community College.
“I am anxious to get right to work on behalf of Troy residents,” said Donovan.
“We are excited to be welcoming such a qualified engineer to the City of Troy,” said Mayor Rosamilia.
