ALBANY, N.Y. -- A 22-year-old Albany resident is in custody for assault following an incident on Livingston Avenue.
On Monday, June 9, 2014 at 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Livingston Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers located a male victim inside who had been stabbed during a domestic incident. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim, a 26-year-old male from Albany, was treated at the scene by medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center. He is currently admitted at the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Shortly after the call, the suspect, Yantine Rallins, 22, of Albany, was located by officers and taken into custody.
She was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
She was arraigned Monday in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
