Italian-Americans being honored in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Capitol will be red, white and green on Monday as lawmakers honor prominent Italian-Americans.

The New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators will be recognizing the Empire State's own governor, Andrew Cuomo.

Governor Cuomo's family has roots in Southern Italy, and has been New York's governor since a landslide victory in 2010. He'll also be joined by Tony Danza, who's a famous actor and entertainer, as well as the former drummer for Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Meatloaf.

The celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. on Monday in Albany.
