TROY, N.Y. - The man who was hit by a car while riding his bike last week has succumbed to his injuries.
Troy Police have confirmed that Stephen Nolan, 53, passed away on Friday.
On June 2, Nolan was allegedly attempting to cross King Street on his bike when he collided with a vehicle. Officers described him to be in grave condition when they arrived to the scene.
Police originally said Nolan succumbed to his injuries on June 3 after he was taken to Samaritan Hospital and later Albany Medical Center. Police retracted the comment and said Nolan was still alive and in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Albany Med.
No charges expected to be filed against the driver.
