GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – An Albany man pleaded not guilty Thursday to accusations he sexually abused a young girl.

Adam Miller turned himself in to state police Thursday and was later arraigned in Guilderland Town Court.

The 27-year-old has been charged with Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child under the age of 11. Court documents reveal that the alleged crime happened in March.

The judge issued an order of protection. Miller cannot go within 500 feet of the victim’s home, school, or the victim herself. He also cannot verbally or electronically contact the victim.

Guilderland Central School District confirmed Miller was a former substitute bus driver. They say he began in January 2010 and worked until February 2013.

Miller pleaded not guilty to both charges and posted $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear back in court June 26.
