ALBANY, N.Y.—Law Enforcement members and athletes across the Capital Region are running to support the Special Olympics.
The annual Capital District Law Enforcement torch run took place on Thursday.
The run started at Bob and Ron’s Fish Fry on Central Avenue in Albany and finished at Albany City Hall.
The runners are traveling more than fourteen miles with the torch.
According to Special Olympics, this event is the largest grassroots fundraising for the movement across the globe.
