Route 7 Paving in Rensselaer County is underway


RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Motorists are advised that paving is under way on sections of Route 7 in the Rensselaer County towns of Pittstown and Hoosick.

Paving work will involve alternating single lane closures controlled by flaggers. Work and lane closures will occur along various stretches daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work is expected to last approximately six weeks.

Paving will occur on the following segments of Route 7:

  • Just east of Lake Shore Drive to 1,000 feet west of Parker School Road in Pittstown 
  • 1,500 feet east of the easternmost intersection with Route 22 to 600 feet west of the Bennington Connector in Hoosick 
  • 800 feet east of the Bennington Connector to 1,000 feet west of the state line with Vermont
