ALBANY, N.Y.—A 19 year old pled guilty Tuesday for his role in causing the death of a five-week-old infant.
Cavadeas Taylor, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the first degree.
The case remains open against co-defendant Seth Knox Sr., 26, who was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The indictment alleges between June 11 and June 12, 2013 at a residence on Second Street in the City of Albany, Taylor recklessly engaged in conduct which created a grave risk of death that ultimately resulted in the death of Seth Knox, Jr.
Taylor will remain in custody and faces 15 years in State Prison followed by 15 years of Post-Release supervision when sentenced on July 25.
