ALBANY, N.Y. – A 21-year-old Albany man has been arraigned on a felony robbery charge.
According to Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares, Daniel Decenzo, 21, was arraigned on one count of robbery in the second degree, a felony, on Tuesday.
A Grand Jury returned the indictment, which alleges that Decenzo forcibly stole property and caused physical injury to an 89-year-old woman in May. The incident happened in the area of New Scotland Avenue and Quail Street.
He is accused of stealing the victim’s purse and throwing her to ground.
