ALBANY N.Y. - Whenever putting personal information online there is a risk of it being compromised. That’s why security experts will be leading a conference to educate the community about protecting their privacy on the internet.
Organizers are expecting more than 1,000 people to attend the two day event including auditors, law enforcement, local businesses and non-profit organizations.
The theme for this year's conference is "Solving the Security Puzzle" that focuses on the many pieces involved in providing a secure environment.
The goal of this conference is to increase awareness about cyber security threats, as well as give hands on experience to problems and issues, and to offer solutions that can be best applied to their cyber security environment.
