Albany man arrested after two commercial burglaries


ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man is in custody after two commercial burglaries in Albany.

Wesley Brown, 50, was arrested after an investigation by Albany detectives.

On December 3, 2012, Brown entered DC’s pizza on Western Avenue and stole a cash register and an undisclosed amount of cash from the business.

Brown also entered Delaware News between Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6 of 2013 and stole several lottery tickets along with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Brown was charged with two count of Burglary in the third degree, on count of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, and one count of Petit Larceny.

He was sent to Albany County Jail after arraignment in Albany City Criminal Court.
