PETERSBURGH, N.Y.—Route 2 in Petersburgh, Rensselaer County, will be closed between its two intersections with East Hollow Road beginning Friday.
The closure covers three quarters of a mile of Route 2 and will be closed from Friday at 8 p.m. until Saturday at 8 p.m.
A car detour will be established, as well as a separate detour for trucks and large vehicles.
Beginning on Monday, June 2, a temporary traffic signal will be installed at Route 2 to allow for a single traffic lane. This will remain in place throughout June.
