Vermont man accused of driving golf cart drunk, crashing into creek
ANDOVER, Vt., - Vermont State Police say they have arrested a man for allegedly operating a golf cart while drunk on a public highway.
According to authorities, on Friday around 10:45 p.m., police responded to the Andover Weston Road to assist Chester Fire and Ambulance with an accident involving a golf cart.
Upon arrival, a State Trooper found the golf cart had been driven into a creek. An investigation revealed that the operator, Jeremy Sanderson, 41, was allegedly operating the golf cart while he was intoxicated.
Sanderson was arrested for DUI and released with a citation.
Sanderson did not sustain injuries during the crash.
