CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- NEWS10 ABC has been inspired by the Shenendehowa Central School District’s community effort to perform 50,000 random acts of kindness during the month of May.

One act towards the mother of Chris Stewart, one of two teens killed in a December 2012 Northway crash that devastated the community, has caught the communities attention.

"I got this anonymous Mother's Day card in the mail with the RAK card and lottery scratch-offs totaling $50 to add to the Christopher Stewart media box! Thank you to the thoughtful, kind person who mailed it to me. What a wonderful gesture! Kindness matters! Please pass it on,” she said of the act.

The Stewart family is raising money to renovate the media box at Shen High School and name it after Chris.

Post a photo of your good deed or the kindness you receive on any social media page with the hashtag #RAKon10, and we'll air or share them throughout the week.
