ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man was found guilty in Albany County Court Monday.
James Stokes, 46, was found guilty of one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second and third degree, and one count of Criminal Sale of a Firearm.
On April 15, 2013, Stokes was observed possessing an unregistered Kel-Tec 9mm semi-automatic pistol. He then entered a residence and sold the pistol for $300 in cash.
The pistol had been loaded with seven rounds of ammunition.
After ballistic testing, it was determined to be the same weapon used in a shooting that occurred in Albany.

Rivera previously pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Firearm and one count of Reckless Endangerment and was sentenced to eight years in State Prison.
