Two arrested for allegedly spraying graffiti on Indian Ladder Trail rock wall
VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. - State Police have arrested two 19-year-olds for allegedly spraying graffiti in Thacher State Park.
According to authorities, on Thursday Troopers were patrolling the park on foot when they observed two men using spray paint to tag a rock wall above the Indian Ladder Trail. The subjects spray painted the tags “Randl” and “Camp” on the rocks.
State Police arrested Giosue Mazzone of Scotia and Kaine Caraballo of Schenectady after they climbed down from the trail.
The men have been charged with Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, Making Graffiti, and Possession of Graffiti Instruments, all misdemeanors.
Mazzone and Caraballo were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in New Scotland Town Court later this month.
