MOREAU, N.Y. - Charges are expected to be dropped for the Saratoga County mom accused of hiring strippers for her son's 16th birthday party.
Judy Viger was facing five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She had been accused of hiring strippers for her son's party in November 2012. Some of the 50 minors attending the party at Spare Time Bowling Center were as young as 14.
In order for for the charges to be dropped, Viger agreed to complete 50 hours of community service and stay out of trouble for six months. Viger accepted the deal in November 2013. Her lawyer said that the agreement was not an admission of guilt.
Viger's lawyer had said she thought the dancers would only be singing "bikini grams" and was trying to stop them when things got out of hand. Police were alerted after some pictures of the strippers with underage kids surfaced online.
