Altercation at local restaurant leads to two arrests

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - Two men are accused of assaulting two patrons at a local restaurant.

According to State Police, Troopers responded to Peddlers Restaurant on Saturday around 9 p.m. for a report of a physical altercation.

Upon arrival, police determined that Joshua Boldt, 34, and Louis Funaro, 31, approached two people from behind and assaulted them. Boldt and Funaro then fled the area, say police. 

Both victims suffered various bruises and swelling.  Several pieces of furniture and some dinnerware were damaged during the altercation as well.

Both Boldt and Funaro turned themselves in to the Clifton Park Barracks later.

They have been charged with Assault in the third degree and Criminal Mischief in the fourth, both misdemeanors.
