Former pastor accused of stealing money expected in court

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. – A former pastor who I accused of stealing thousands of dollars from an acquaintances bank account is expected in court.

Jason LaPierre, 38, was arrested for the second time in April. He is accused of stealing more than $20,000 dollars from another person’s bank account by cashing a forged check. 

LaPierre previously served time in State Prison for stealing $400,000 from a credit union. He remains in jail for violating probation.

He is scheduled to appear in Fort Edward Court at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
