Police: 22-year-old found in possession of graffiti instruments
ALBANY, N.Y. – A Rensselaer man is accused of possessing graffiti instruments.
According to Albany Police, on Monday around 12:20 a.m., officers observed a man acting suspiciously underneath the railroad bridge in the area of Central Avenue and Vatrano Road.
Police say the bridge is a target of vandals and many neighbors complain.
Upon investigation, Albany Officers say Erik Savage, 22, was found to be in possession of about 15 cans of different colored spray paint. He was also found to be in possession of gloves and liquid paint, common tool used to make graffiti.
Savage was taken into custody at the scene without incident and charged with Possession of Graffiti Instruments.
He was arraigned Monday morning in the Albany City Criminal Court and released.
