Police: Man drove with .27 BAC, charged with felonies

WATERFORD, N.Y. – A man is accused of driving with a BAC that was more than three times the legal limit.

According to Waterford Town Police, an officer observed a vehicle speeding and running a red light at Sixth and Broad Streets early Sunday morning. 

The officer initiated a traffic stop. Upon investigation, police say Jeremiah Fowler, 35, was found to be driving while intoxicated. 

A chemical test showed that Fowler was allegedly driving with a BAC of .27-percent. 

Due to a prior DWI conviction in 2004, Fowler faces felony charges.

Fowler has been charged with felony aggravated DWI, felony DWI, reckless driving, and traffic violations. He was arraigned and issue and appearance ticket.
