Woman accused of Gloversville stabbing

GLOVERSVILLE, NY - At 5:09 p.m. Friday, it was reported to the Gloversville Police Department that blood was observed on the porch at 22 East State Street.  Gloversville Police Officers responded to that address, found the blood stains, and noticed that the blood had been recently spilled there. 

The officers made contact with the occupants of the apartment.  Those occupants were discovered to be Tracy L. Wells and the victim.  Through the officers' investigation it was learned that a domestic incident had occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m.

During that incident Wells used a steak knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen once.  The victim had initially declined medical treatment, but when the victim realized the bleeding hadn’t stopped, the victim was transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital and later released.          

Wells was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Traci DiMezza and remanded to the Fulton County Jail on $15,000.00 cash and $30,000.00 bond bail.
