Albany man arrested in Dutchess County on felony charge
RHINEBECK, N.Y. – An Albany man is accused of stealing nearly $6,800 by using counterfeit checks.
According to New York State Police, Micheaude Clark, 41, was arrested on Wednesday for Grand Larceny in the third degree, a felony.
Clark’s arrest stems from an arrest warrant in connection to an incident that was reported in December 2012. Clark allegedly possessed counterfeit checks and cashed them at numerous branches of the TEG Federal Credit Union.
Police say the man stole a total of $6769.60.
Clark was processed without incident and remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail.
