COLONIE, N.Y. – The Colonie Farmer’s Market at The Crossing will open on May 17 for the 2014 season.
The Town of Colonie announced the annual Farmer’s Market will have live music on several days. The Town’s Brass Band will perform on June 7. More live music will be on June 14 and June 21.
While there will be traditional vendors offering fruits and vegetables, there will also be new vendors like Albany Massage, Harvest Thyme Dressing, and Portofino’s.
The Farmers’ Market is part of the New York State Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program and accepts WIC and seniors’ farmer’s market checks, which are provided directly to qualifying seniors age 60 and over by the Town’s Senior Resources Department.
