Siena men’s lacrosse loses to Bryant University

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Siena College's men's lacrosse team lost their play-in game Wednesday.

In order to play in the NCAA tournament, the Siena men’s lacrosse team had to beat Bryant University.

Siena headed out to Rhode Island on Tuesday, their twelfth road game of the season.

Bryant University will be a challenge for Siena. The Bulldogs have the top face-off player in the country in Kevin Massa, and they know how to frustrate up-tempo teams like Siena. Siena’s Casey Dowd is the one that will be battling him and midfield all afternoon long, and entering the game Dowd said he can't be concerned with what Massa can do, he can only worry about himself.

It was a close game. Siena lost 9-8.
