Sheriff: Man had 7 pounds of marijuana at a $10,500 value
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – A man faces several charges after he was allegedly found in possession of more than seven pounds of marijuana.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Jason Havens, 41, was arrested this week by the Narcotics Enforcement Unit.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Havens’ home where seven pounds of high-grade marijuana, $800 cash, drug paraphernalia and a benefit card were located.
The approximate value of the marijuana is about $17,500.
Havens has been charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the second Degree, a felony. He was arraigned Glens Falls City Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Glens Falls Police Department and the Capital District Drug Enforcement Task Force.
