State Police: Man caught driving with .24 BAC

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – State Police in Brunswick say they arrested a man for driving with a BAC that was more than three times the legal limit.

According to police, Matthew Behan, 58, was arrested after a Trooper observed him operating a vehicle erratically. Behan drove into the wrong lane on State Route 40 in Schaghticoke on Friday afternoon, say police.

Authorities say that Behan was pulled over and failed field sobriety tests. He was charged with felony DWI because of a previous DWI conviction within the past ten years. His BAC was allegedly .24-percent.

State Police say Behan was arraigned and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail.
