Police find second victim in Gloversville assault


GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – Police have found the second alleged victim from an assault in Gloversville.

Gloversville Police responded to a report for a shooting after 10 p.m. April 29 at 77 Fremont St. The victim claimed he was beaten with a hammer and a bullet grazed his face.

The victim also said a second victim, only known to him as Cliff, was also assaulted at the apartment. Cliff was not at the residence at the time police responded.

Police said Friday, the man known as Cliff presented himself to detectives Friday afternoon.

Police are not releasing his name but said he is 26-years-old and from Utica, N.Y. He sustained a broken ankle and numerous bruises to his head and face, police said.

The investigation into the incident continues.
