PRINCETOWN, N.Y. – State Police say they have arrested a woman who allegedly drove drunk with children in her vehicle.
According to authorities, State Police were patrolling I-90 in Princetown when they pulled over a vehicle for an unsafe lane change.
Troopers say they found the driver, Audray Lewis, 44, intoxicated. Lewis was arrested.
Two children, ages four and nine, were found in the vehicle during the arrest, say police.
Lewis and the children were taken to State Police in Fultonville. The children were then turned over to a family member.
Lewis has been charged with felony Aggravated DWI with a child passenger less than 19, misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, and traffic violations. She was arraigned and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $10,000 bail.
