State Police: Man arrested after allegedly grabbing woman's buttocks
BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – A Troy man has been arrested after allegedly touching a female without her consent.
State Police say that they arrested Mario Guerrero, 40, following an investigation into an April 22 incident.
According to authorities, the incident took place at the Wal-Mart on Hoosick Road.
Guerrero is accused of grabbing an adult female’s buttocks without her consent.
Troopers, the Rensselear County Sheriff’s Office, loss prevention officers from Walmart and Price Chopper were able to identify the suspect as Guerrero.
On Saturday, Price Chopper Loss prevention officers observed Guerrero in the store and notified State Police. Troopers arrived to the scene and took the man into custody.
Guerrero has been charged with sexual abuse in the third degree and harassment in the second degree. He was arraigned and released with an order of protection barring him from any contact with his victim. He will be back in court on a later date.
