FONDA, N.Y.—The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District Board of Education unanimously adopted the 2014-15 budget.
Residents will be asked to vote on a proposed budget on May 20.
The proposed budget would increase the total tax levy by 1.75 percent, which is the lowest increase in more than 10 years.
The Fonda-Fultonville district is set to receive an additional $634,439 in state aid.
“The increase in aid for 2014-15 will help the district get “back on track” including restoration of some programs that have a significant impact on our students and the fund balance, which is an important indicator of fiscal solvency for school districts,” said Superintendent Ray Colucciello.
Polls will be open May 20 from noon to 9 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
