Police: Man arrested for breaking into apartment in February
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – A Saratoga man is accused on unlawfully entering an apartment and stealing items while the tenant was asleep, say police.
According to Saratoga Springs Police, Juan Munguia, 25, was arrested on Tuesday night in connection to an incident which happened on February 20, 2014.
Police say Munguia unlawfully entered an apartment building on Jefferson Terrace around 6:30 a.m. the morning of the incident. At the time of the burglary, the tenant awoke and observed Munguia in the apartment.
Munguia allegedly fled the area.
He has been charged with burglary in the second degree and petit larceny because he allegedly stole consumable goods from the victim.
Munguia was arraigned and committed on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
