Two more arrested, accused of gang assault in Saratoga
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Two men have been accused of gang assault, according to Saratoga Springs Police.
Authorities say Adam Carpenter, 23, and Aaron Freedman, 25, were arrested on warrants last week.
The arrests stem from an April 13 assault that took place at Caroline and Putnam in the City of Saratoga Springs.
The first defendant, Jeffery Carpenter, 25, was arrested shortly after the initial incident.
Police say they responded to a report of an unconscious male on Gardner Lane last week. While on the scene, officers were told by a witness that there was a fight at the intersection of Caroline and Putnam Street.
Officers observed a small group of people allegedly assaulting a male who was on the ground. After the group realized they were observed by officers, police say they took off running from the scene.
Adam Carpenter and Aaron Freedman were also charged with resisting arrest.
