Two arrested following traffic stop on the Northway

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - State Police have arrested two teenagers after a traffic stop on the Northway.

According to authorities, on Thursday, Troopers observed a vehicle driving erratically on the Northway. 

Following a traffic stop, the driver, Nicholas Degni, 18, was allegedly found to be in possession of Metal Knuckles, which are illegal in the State of New York. 

State Police say the passenger, Ian Grossmann 19, was found to be in possession of alcohol.

Degni was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree. Grossmann was charged with Unlawful Possession of Alcohol. 

Degni and Grossmann were released on Appearance Tickets, to reappear in court at a later date.
