Gloversville man sentenced to 67 months

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y.—A Gloversville man was sentenced to 67 months in Federal Prison on Tuesday.

Angel Burgos, 39, was sent to prison based on an arrest that took place on August 27, 2012.

Burgos, who was on Parole, illegally possessed a loaded firearm.

Burgos had numerous felony convictions previously in 1991 and 2007.

Once Burgos was arrested in Gloversville, Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives agents presented the case to the US Federal court in Albany.

His federal sentence commenced at the conclusion of his Parole Violation sentence.
