Fire breaks out at vacant home, neighbors displaced

TROY, N.Y. - A fire broke out in Troy early Wednesday morning in a vacant house on Glen Street.

The house had a red "X" on the front, which means the house is vacant.

The house had already been damaged by a fire in the past, so the assistant fire chief said he didn't send anyone in right away because the structural integrity was questionable.

Crews had to pull neighbors to safety because the houses were so close together.

Luckily, no injuries were reported. However, some people were displaced. The assistant chief said they should be able to go back home soon.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation..
