NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—A bus load of North Adams residents, leaders, and employees of a shutdown hospital wrapped up their long day on the road Tuesday.
The bus load traveled to the State Capitol in Boston to deliver petitions to Governor Deval Patrick and other lawmakers.
The group delivered the petitions to urge them to help re-open North Adams Regional Hospital.
The hospital was shut down late March after its parent company said it ran out of money.
Weeks later, Northern Berkshire Healthcare filed for bankruptcy.
