Route 148 reopens after mudslide in Warrensburg

WARRENSBURG, N.Y. - Travel is back to normal in part of Warren County after a mudslide closed off a road between Warrensburg and the Thurman train station.

The initial slide happened Saturday evening on Route 148 covering about 100 feet of the roadway with mud and trees.

Luckily, no cars were in the path and no one was hurt.

Crews worked relentlessly to clean it all up and were able to re-open the road Sunday afternoon.
