Latham man pleads guilty to residential burglary

ALBANY, N.Y.—A Latham man pleaded guilty to committing a residential burglary in Albany Town court on Thursday.

Devon Allen, 19, pleaded guilty to one count of Burglary in the second degree.

Allen unlawfully entered a residence in Colonie on November 21, 2013. While inside, Allen stole a laptop, jewelry, and other property. He then attempted to sell the stolen property on Craigslist.

Allen faces up to seven years in State Prison when sentenced on May 29. He remains in custody at the Albany County Correctional Facility to await sentencing.
