Former town justice's case adjourned until next week

PRINCETOWN, N.Y. – The case for a former town justice accused of firing his gun in a neighborhood was adjourned Thursday.

William Reynolds, 56, will now be arraigned April 15 at 9 a.m. in Schenectady City Court.

Reynolds was arrested in March by State Police. He is accused of firing three shots into the air in a neighborhood; one of the bullets allegedly struck a home.

Authorities wouldn't say what his intended target was; only that he was uncooperative.

He's been charged with reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.  He stepped down from his position as town justice last month.
