New Jersey residents arrested on drug charges in Queensbury

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – Two people from New Jersey have been arrested on drug charges.

According to State Police, they arrested Quinn Marshall, 43, on Tuesday after he ran from a traffic stop on Quaker Road in the Town of Queensbury. Police say Marshall was seen throwing an unknown object onto the ground. He was located and found in possession of cocaine, say police.

He has been charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, a felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a Misdemeanor.  Marshall is being held pending arraignment.

Shortly after Marshall was arrested, Shawna Willie, 27, was also arrested. State Police say they searched her hotel room and located about 20 grams of crack cocaine and Suboxone pills. 

Willie was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, a felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.  Willie was being held pending arraignment.

The arrest was made by Troopers and Investigators from the State Police station in Queensbury with the assistance of Warren County Sheriff Patrol Officer Terry Combs and K-9 Eric.
