Troy man accused of stealing Halfmoon resident's identity

HALFMOON, N.Y. – The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man accused of stealing a person's identity.

According to authorities, on March 31, Justin Hensleigh, 25, was arrested and charged with Identity Theft in the first degree.

The Sheriff's Office said Hensleigh assumed the identity of a Halfmoon resident and used credit cards to purchase $4,825.97 of items.

The Troy man has been arraigned and was held on $1,000 bail or $2,000 bail bond.
