ALBANY, N.Y. – State Police have arrested a man for allegedly possessing heroin and marijuana.
According to police, they pulled over a Mercedes-Benz on I-87 in the City of Albany for illegally tinted windows.
A license check revealed the car was being driven with a suspended license for Lloyd Garcia, 37.
Before the vehicle was towed, Troopers found plastic bags in the Mercedes which
contained approximately five grams of marijuana. They also found small
plastic envelopes containing approximately two grams of heroin.
Garcia was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh, aggravated unlicensed operation the third, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Garcia was released on bail.
