Warren County issues 911 outage notice


WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. — Frontier Communications has confirmed that due to a fiber optic break on State Route 9N, 911 services are unavailable for landline devices.

State Route 9N near Antone Mountain Road affecting the Luzerne, Hadley, Corinth and the Stony Creek areas have no landline 911 service.

Cellular 911 service is still operational at this time.

Frontier estimated 3,500 customers without 911 services in the 654 and 696 exchanges.

Repairs are underway, however, there is no estimated time for the repairs.

People in need of assistance are asked to call the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 518-743-2501 and take option 1.
