ALBANY, N.Y.—A New Scotland man pleaded guilty on Wednesday after driving while high on heroin.
Kyle Pianowski, 27, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired by drugs, a felony.
On February 22, 2014, Pianowski was pulled over in Guilderland for traffic violations. After speaking with him, officers determined that he showed signs of drug impairment and had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
A search of Pianowski's vehicle revealed four envelopes of heroin, ten hydrocodone pills, and a hypodermic needle.
After being brought to the station, it was determined that Pianowski was under the influence of heroin.
Pianowski now faces two to six years in State Prison when sentenced on May 21.
