Man accused of damaging motel property


SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Police say they arrested a man after he allegedly damaged property at a motel.

According to Saratoga Springs Police, on Monday around 4 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance call at the Gateway Motel on Maple Avenue. It is alleged that Guy Wood, 41, damaged both an office door and a glass bowl at the motel.

Wood was located on the property. Police say that while he was taken into custody, Wood fought with officers, affecting the arrest.

Wood has been arraigned and committed to Saratoga County Jail on $2,500 cash bail/$5,000 bond.
