FERC discusses proposed constitution pipeline

ALBANY, N.Y.—Public meetings are being held the first week of April to gather feedback on the draft environmental impact statement.

The 124 mile long underground pipeline would carry natural gas from Northern Pennsylvania across New York's southern tier to connect with other pipelines in Schoharie County.

A meeting was held Monday in Cobleskill and more meetings are taking place later in the week.

If approved, pipeline construction could start in January of 2015.
