ALBANY, N.Y. – A Ravena man was sentenced in Albany County Court Tuesday for felony DWI.

Peter Kilmer was sentenced to 10 months in the Albany County Correctional Facility to be followed by five years of felony probation. The 56-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of Driving While Intoxicated, a felony, in February 2014.

The New York State Police stopped Kilmer's car in September 2013 in the Town of Guilderland for driving 82 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour work zone. Officers observed Kilmer exhibiting multiple physical signs of intoxication as they spoke to him.

Kilmer measured a BAC of .17 percent after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

Kilmer's license will also be revoked for a minimum of one-year. The court also imposed a $1,000 fine and required Kilmer to install an ignition interlock device for five years after his release from custody.
