Gloversville residents arrested

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y.—A Gloversville man was arrested for a robbery that took place on March 26.

Jimmy Murray entered a Lukoil GasMart armed with a box cutter and demanded cash from the register, leaving the store with $200.

Murray was charged with Robbery in the third degree and Grand Larceny in the fourth degree.

Members of the Gloversville Police Department executed a search warrant and located six grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale. They also recovered $700 in cash.

The occupants of the apartment, Tammy Young, 42, and Shameka Worley, 33, were arrested for Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

All three residents are being held for arraignment in Gloversville City Court.
