Five arrested for riding motorcycles in Fane sand and gravel bank

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – State Police say they have arrested five males after they were caught riding their motor cycles in the Fane sand and gravel bank located on Allen Road.

The five people were allegedly caught riding their motor cycles but when stopped by Troopers, they allegedly attempted to leave the property.

State Police say they were all observed riding their motor cycles on stock piles of mason sand which resulted in the sand being contaminated.

One seventeen year old, Shane Stiles, 20, Shane Dominy, 21, Nicholas Slish, 18 and Joshua Coreno, 20, were arrested. They were charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief.

The five were processed at the Brunswick barracks on criminal charges along with several Vehicle and Traffic law violations. They were released on appearance tickets and are to appear in Schaghticoke Court on April 7, 2014.
